What we store

Your name, username, email, a securely hashed password (we never store or see your actual password), your time zone and game settings, who you're connected with, and your game answers. If you turn on Face ID we store only a public key — your face or fingerprint never leaves your device.

Why

To run the game, keep you logged in, reset your password, and understand how Hunchy is used so we can make it better (for example how many people sign up and how long they play).

Who sees your answers

Only the people you connect with, and only after the reveal time. Custom questions you write may be reviewed by us and (with names removed) added to the game for others.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in. If ads are shown, we only load advertising cookies if you say yes, and you can change that any time via "Cookie choices" in the footer.

Your rights

You can download all your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Under UK GDPR you can also contact us to access, correct or erase your data.

Security

Passwords are hashed with Argon2id/bcrypt, connections use HTTPS, and sign-ups are protected against bots.
